• Starting May 18th groups will begin gathering.

• In-home gatherings beginning May 24th and VIVE will continue to be online.

• “Watch Parties”. For example: if you live in North KC, we encourage you to gather with others in your zip code in smaller groups to worship together on Sundays. If you are in Pleasant Hill, consider joining families in the Lee's Summit area. You can go anywhere to be with your people. We just want to take this first, responsible step to gather back together in person.

*VIVE KIDS will continue to be provided online.

• Children gather at the discretion of host homes and attendees. And our online will be treated like a campus now and will continue to be a priority.

If you don't feel comfortable with that, we totally understand. Continue to stay engaged with us online Sunday mornings and throughout the week.

• Connect Groups will start back up every other week until the week of June 14th. For those who don’t yet feel ready for re-engaging with people, we will still provide a Zoom to stay engaged with your group so you don't miss out.

Guidelines For In-Home Gatherings and Connect Groups

• In order to protect all of our VIVE families during the COVID-19 pandemic, we ask that you stay home if you or your loved ones are sick or you even have symptoms that you might be sick.

• Maintain and practice social distancing as much as possible, including with regard to handshakes, hugs, or high fives. It's perfectly safe to give a solid elbow bump to welcome guests into your home.

• Upon arrival, please wash hands in the bathroom upon entering for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

• Dry hands with disposable paper towels as opposed to cloth towels in a bathroom.

• If you do provide food or snacks, please have it laid out on individual plates so there are not multiple people handling food.

• Wipe down any toys used afterward.

*You should continue to avoid touching your face, including their eyes, noses, and mouths, particularly until after you have thoroughly washed your hands after being with others.

• Groups of 50 permitted to gather in person spread out with being sensitive still with social distancing.

• We will have a family section in our in-person gathering but will not open VIVE Kids yet.

*VIVE KIDS will continue to be provided online.

• We are putting money into making our online an actual campus so it can be an even better experience for our VIVE family who aren't quite ready to go out in public.

• We will continue to offer In-Home gatherings for those still not ready to gather in a larger group setting.

• Children at the discretion of host homes and attendees.

Our new location will be strategically based on moving into Phases 2 and 3.

• Government restrictions + our social climate will impact when we move into each phase. We always want to walk in wisdom, not simply can we do it. Just because something is legal doesn't mean it's socially responsible. So we are always leaning into the Holy Spirit as our leadership team navigates each season we walk in.

*To us it's not simply about Sunday's. It's about engagement in our House. There are many ways to stay connected and grow in our VIVE community throughout the week in studies, connect groups, serve projects, and more. Be encouraged...God is not limited to bricks and 2x4's. We will get through this together!
